How Far Will The Men's Drop Crotch Pants Go For Fall 2012?

Dropped crotch pants are the single piece of trending style that has had a major impact on the look of menswear and a strong vote toward casual looks. The reason the trend is so important is because it was present in more high fashion men’s runway shows than any other single trend for Fall 2012. A dropped crotch is created by having a shorter inseam but retaining the height of the waistline. Because of the difference in height there ended up being a very long crotch A.K.A., a dropped crotch. The extended crotch is not for everyone, tall models pull this look off the best and traditionally the drop crotch is worn in street styles on younger men defining more casual attire, but any frame can pull this trend off with confidence. The runway was filled with this casual inspired silhouette however daywear wasn’t the only genre of clothing that was rocking the trend, it was used in everything from street wear to ornate black tie tuxedos.  Will this trend last or will it stomp itself into the ground?
